*Next Office will be set up at Târgu Mureş

Today, the 4 th of November this year, The National Agency for Small and Medium Size Enterprises and Cooperatives opens the fourth regional office for IMM at Iasi, after other three offices have been opened at Timişoare, Craiova and Constanţa

The National Agency for Small and Medium Size Enterprises and Cooperatives approved by Ordinance of its President, Mr. Eugen Ovidiu Chirovici, the Organization and Operation Rules for the territorial offices for small and medium size enterprises and cooperatives.

These, called OTIMMC, function as special body of the public administration, have juridical identity and are under the National Agency for Small and Medium Size Enterprises and Cooperatives subordination.

The other offices will have the headquarters in the following cities: Constanţa, Craiova, Iaşi and Târgul Mureş, running their activity for the regions under the mentioned centers authority. We mention some of their main responsibilities:

*Organizing and administration of the database with small and medium size enterprises from the region for which they run their activity, which also contains a detailed presentation of the object of activity of each enterprise;

*Initiation, promotion and collaboration with the development centers of the small and medium size enterprises form the coordinated area.

*Collaboration with the prefectures, public administration, regional development agencies and representative organization for the business regional environment representatives for the implementation of the Governmental Strategy supporting this sector.

*Collaboration with the subsidiaries/branches of the National Fund for guaranteeing the credits for Small and Medium Size Enterprises in order to improve the small and medium size enterprises access to financing.

*Implementing and monitoring the Agency programs applicable at regional level by delegation of responsibilities;

*Representing the Agency in the relationship with the local and regional public authorities on the basis of the concluded agreements for the implementation of the programs for development of small and medium size enterprises and for the cooperative organizations developed at local regional administrative subsidiary level;

*Offering consultancy for the accessibility to the programs launched by the Agency, through the information, consultancy, guidance territorial centers established for this purpose at OTIMMC level;

*Facilitating the small and medium size enterprises access to the electronic services such as e-governance and e-business present on the Agency website.

*Participating at the stimulation of the business local environment through actions regarding the awareness of the local factors and representative associations of IMMs involved in the creation of the necessary conditions to sustain the business incubator, scientific and technological parks and other infrastructures;

*Participating at the data and information exchange on the market within the informational system created for the link to the international network for informational services regarding the agricultural market AgriMISS;

*Preparing the small and medium size enterprises for the European Union integration, by:

• spreading the general and particular information regarding the European Union;

• organizing seminars and qualification courses with regard to the new acquis from the Agency domains of activity;

• making certain thematic studies necessary for the implementation of the policies and programs from the domain of activity of the small and medium size enterprises, cooperatives and domestic trade.
